If money wasn't an issue, I would be serving someone, somewhere (preferably warm) in a time of need as a fulltime occupation. Got my first REAL taste of serving in Biloxi, MS post Katrina.

Why do I serve in YFC? To put it simply, this is what I feel I'm called to do. For the kids, its a time of intense transition. Not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually as well. They are exploring a relationship with Christ that is no longer their parents faith, but their faith. My desire is for these kids to have a burning desire to pursue God and I want to do whatever I can to help them on that journey BEFORE they leave home for college or careers.

What one person impacted my life the most in ministry?  That's easy. My wife Sheri!!  She brought me to Christ 20 years ago, she encouraged me in volunteering with youth, and she is always there to bounce ideas, concerns, and celebrations. Without her, I wouldn't be half the person I am today!
