Metamora Story
Getting it done!!!
Recently we had a concert at Campus Life. On this particular night it seemed like the concert was the central focus of the night. Which was great and the students had a ton of fun and loved every minute of it!!! However, there were two students in particular who weren't totally into the show. One of our adult leaders, Josh, took notice of that. So Josh and the two other guys just sat outside of the room where the concert was and talked with each other in the hallway of the school. The three of them discussed many different things and Josh really got to know them at deeper levels.
That is what I love about Josh. He took the opportunity to move closer to students in a context other than the concert. In this relational moment, God through Josh, was loving the students where they are.
Go Josh, and thanks for modeling what it means to lean into students lives and to be available to God for his work to be done!
