  • If $ wasn't an issue, I would be serving someone, somewhere (preferably warm) in a time of need as a fulltime occupation. Got my first REAL taste of serving in Biloxi, MS post Katrina.
  • Why do I serve in YFC? To put it simply, this is what I feel I'm called to do. For the kids, its a time of intense transition. Not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually as well. They are exploring a relationship with Christ that is no longer their parents faith, but their faith. My desire is for these kids to have a burning desire to pursue God and I want to do whatever I can to help them on that journey BEFORE they leave home for college or careers.
  • What one person impacted my life the most in ministry?  That's easy. My wife Sheri!!  She brought me to Christ 20 years ago, she encouraged me in volunteering with youth, and she is always there to bounce ideas, concerns, and celebrations. Without her, I wouldn't be half the person I am today!

  • If money was not an issue ... I would beTeaching grade school.
  • Why do you serve in YFC ministry?  Hoping to offer guidance that was lacking in my teen years.
  • What one person impacted your life in ministry the most?  Listening to Chip Ingram's radio show encouraged me to rekindle my relationship with Jesus, many other friends and acquaintances reiterated his message since then.

  • Money no object?  Doing ministry on a very warm tropical island...preferably beachside and barefoot!
  • #1 most influential person was Laura Crifield, a young pastor who became a great friend and brought Jesus to the kitchen table!
  • I serve in YFC because I want to make a difference in the life of a teen, I want to provide a safe place for them, and I want to live out my faith!

  • If money was not an issue what would you be doing at this moment?  Working with Dogs in a ministry role.
  • Why do you serve in YFC ministry?  I got married.  With that I became to love what my husband loves, and his passion spilled on to me.
  • What one person impacted your life in ministry the most?  Other than my husband I don't think there has been anyone.

  • If money were not a concern...what would I be doing today?  Probably the
exact same thing as I am with money concerns, only without the stress headache
    it causes.
  • I think my grandmother influenced me more than anyone else in
    regards to ministry
.  She had the faith of a child, never questioning,
always believing, regardless of her circumstances.  She put Jesus and
others way before herself.  The most humble person I have ever known.  I know my gifts don't necessarily include serving directly with high schoolers, so I don't.  Rather I try to support and encourage
Brent as he leads these kids toward a relationship with Jesus
    .

  • If money was not an issue what would you be doing at this moment- studying for my PHD in business so I could teach at a the college level
  • Why do you serve in YFC ministry?  I love young kids and want them to know the truth of Jesus and find real peace
  • What one person impacted your life in ministry the most? Brian Boone- my pastor in Indianapolis

  • If money was not an issue I would be doing one of two things... either living in Costa Rica working with the young life down there (Vida Joven) or I would be back at school finishing up my master in architecture.
  • I serve in YFC ministry because I know how crucial this age is.  It was in my High School years that I really restled with the meaning of a "christian".  I want to be here for these kids and help them in any way I can.  I want to pray for them, and help them rise up to become a great Christ-following generation.
  • I would say that my middle school youth pastor and my dad are the two men that have impacted me the most.  My dad especially-- he has always been there for me, and we have grown so much closer the older I have gotten.  He has showed me what true love is, what perseverence is (even in the hardest times), and what a good marriage should look like.
