Katie Post

• Hello!  My name is Katie Post, and I'm a volunteer for the Woodruff High School ministry at Youth For Christ.  My heart has been at Woodruff ever since I was a student there in 2001-2005.  After graduating in '05, I started attending Bradley University with the goal to graduate the degree of Music Business.  Jake Bland and Jeff Ringenberg got in touch with me my first year at BU about getting a YFC ministry going on at Woodruff...and the rest is God-graced history!  I currently work at a Christian radio station in Peoria, 91.5 WCIC as the Office Manager and weekend  on-air host.
• These last 5 years, I've continued my involvement with Woodruff to the best of my ability, and schedule.  I currently lead a "Girls Only" Bible Study on Tuesday nights at Peoria Christian Fellowship, across the street from WHS.  I also try to attend one or two Monday night Warrior Nation gatherings a month, and have begun some neat relationships with girls between these 2 WHS ministries.
• My hope with these kids is to love on and minister to them to the best of my ability, and God's timing and direction. It has been and will continue to be a privilege for me to be involved with this ministry.  Excited to see what is to come!

• Graduated with BA degree in Communications in 2006 from Eureka College where I played football and basketball 
• Elected to represent the United States of America overseas by playing basketball with People to People in 2001.
• Coached basketball at Riverview Grade School from 2004-2007, last year Head Coach.
• Presently Assistant Director and Coach with Woodruff JFL. 
• Teacher's aide and sub for Peoria Public School District. Tutoring, mentoring,
• I talk to parents that ask me to speak with their child about grades, behavior or life in general. Since the day I started coaching, tutoring and mentoring I just can not stop doing these things!
